A fair question, GabbyD. But check out the CONTENTS box on the right. The year Philippine Commentary was a "group blog" was the year it produced the smallest number of posts (84) in the six years reported. In the five years that it was not a group blog, there were 4 to 5 times as many posts annually. I'd say from the point of view of pure productivity the group blog experiment was a failure. Now Facebook and Twitter--them's are really successful group blogs!

Of course I take my fair share of the group blame, if not more.

You are imagining things. (Or been watching Predators.) Those are just the murmuring pines and the hemlocks, bearded with moss, and in garments green, indistinct in the twilight, stand like Druids of old with beards that hang to their bosoms...this is the Forest Primeval...
