God helps only those who can help themselves? What kind of a religious hogwash is this? In fact, if God were a healthy God He should precisely help only those who are sick and cannot help themselves.
In the meantime, an average of 3,600 Filipinos leave the Philippines daily to migrate and work in foreign countries. Most of these college educated Pinoys and Pinays have also been taught to believe that God will provide; at least provide for them as soon as they are good and out of this God-forsaken only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century.
