Ho Ho Ho Merry Christrmas Everybody!

Comes a Merry Christmas once again
To Philippine Commentary.
Because of you, dear Reader.
Even those who disagree,
(From whom we learn the most.)

And so this toast of thanks and hope
For another blessed year in your tender company.

Merry Christmas one and all!

The same here, Dean.

But can't keep myself from adding the following.

Let's aim to respect disagreements, but please not to the point of being disagreeable.

And not just during the holidays, but the whole year round.

A liberal talk-show host here in the SF area uses this tagline to end his program:

"It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than it is permission."

And he was wont to not spare anything to rile the people he was criticizing. And he was an ex-priest to boot.
